The Surya Group’s growth is driven by a visionary leader whose journey began in 2001, during his first visit to a sugar mill in India. It was there that the idea of building a diverse portfolio of businesses from a single farm-produced product first took root.

Today, that vision has become a reality. We cultivate cassava and sugarcane, transforming them into fuel-grade and food-grade ethanol, premium spirits, and eco-friendly packaging. Guided by our “Zero Waste” philosophy and supported by backward integration, we maximize efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

Our strong investments in Quality Control and Research & Development ensure we remain adaptive to the evolving needs of both domestic and international markets. At the core of our philosophy is the belief in sustainable practices, embodied in the principle: “Clean Zambia, Green Zambia.”
