We are committed to maintaining our core values to provide a more sustainable food & fuel grade Ethanol in the market. We maintain low operating costs and thereby offering cost-effectiveness to customers/partners. Keep the supply chain to a minimum number of steps to ensure convenience for our target market. Price exposure is controlled using sophisticated price risk management instruments. We don’t take outright price risk and fully hedge all of our positions. Thanks to our supply function, we can manage the procurement of raw materials at the regional rather than at the country level to achieve economies of scale. Our supply specialists have developed the necessary expertise to optimize our supply chains. 

Arubhi Farms

Through our out growers scheme we are able to provide employment to 4,500 farmers in our 4500 hectares farm, precisely one hectare to one farmer. These farms are located at Chibombo and produce Cassava and sugarcane for Surya Biofuels.  The total production is 45,000 metric tonnes of Cassava per year to the farms in Chibombo, Central Province. 

It is one of the richest fermentable substances for the production of Ethanol. We are able to produce high quality spirit with our latest distilling technique. Modified starch from Cassava contains solid ingredients for brewing purposes. Cassava starch sweeteners are superior to sucrose because Modified Starch from Cassava improves the processing and enhances product characteristics which are essential in brewing, hence making our products much loved because of their rich taste.

First Choice Logistics

First Choice Logistics, with an objective to provide end to end solutions was established in 2022. To support cross border we have invested in three flat beds and fifteen fuel tankers. To maintain consistency in domestic supplies we have 15 tankers and 30 small trucks. Our monthly export is around hundred containers and import volume is double of it. Our expertise lies in air, sea and land logistics management.

First Choice Breweries

First Choice Breweries was established in 2008 under the name JBL. Our primary production line includes First Choice Whiskey, Black Panther Rum, Lion Gin and Big Boss Spirit. We are amongst the highest liquor selling company in Zambia. We are known for our rich taste and now due to heavy demand we are into expansion mode. We have a total investment portfolio of about Three Million Dollars.

Jash Packaging

From our year of establishment in 2016, we have been producing Aluminium lids and corrugated boxes boards in the country. We are one of the best producers of packaging material in Zambia. We plan on embarking on a project to produce HDPE (Plastics) and crates for both internal and external use.

Surya Energy Limited

Surya Energy Limited was established in 2020 and it is in the business of procurement, marketing and distribution of Petroleum and Petroleum products in wholesale and retail market. We are the only company in Zambia to produce Green Fuel. Government of Republic of Zambia is considering the blending of ethanol in petrol to reduce the emissions which further help in price benefits to the customers.
